How to serve chicken wings to a man

This is the funniest shit I've seen in a while .. lol

My random thoughts!

I really hate stockings, two days in a row I have had to wear stockings for wardrobe purposes and on both days on both I have pulled and tugged and really it’s a bit annoying. Now yesterday that was all my fault I thought I was getting a deal on some cheap tights, but they were so cute! Matched perfectly with my ensemble and all but hey you get what you pay for right.. lol .. now the kicker is the other pair that I have on today I went to Macys to get so you know I paid at least $15 for them, now they fit and all but they sure do get on my nerves with the not staying in place .. ugggghhhhh!

I was talking to this chick earlier about church and she asked me if I was going for New Years, and I told her that for me it’s not right to go to church that one day out of the year and don’t attend the rest of the year. She said that some people believe that if they go on New Years then they feel the upcoming year will be blessed, what kinda ish is that? You are blessed if you feel blessed regardless of if you go on New Years or not, and what sense does it make to go that one day or on Mothers Day or Easter and no other time? Go throughout the year then you can be picky about a Sunday or two. Me I haven’t gone to church since I left Brooklyn which was back in ’99. I did go a few times in between but there was no special holiday associated with my trip, I went because I wanted to. My absence in church does not mean that I am any less blessed or that I do not love the Lord it is my choice just like many other things in my life are!

I’m so sick of people trying to add there names to my damn Christmas list, I’m a big fan of Christmas but for the life of me don’t get my kids anything and I won’t get yours any. I have a large list compared to some and it seems to get worse as the years go by. Don’t get me wrong, but I must be crazy to love shopping in the chaos and over crowded malls but what I really enjoy most about it is being with the family and seeing how excited the kids get before and even while opening gifts it’s a joy to me really. However what I don’t like is when people call and say “Oh I got something for the girls,” well who told you to do that? Should I feel obligated to get there kids something I mean I have two kids if I were someone else I’d stay away from me with a ten foot pole .. lol.

A Black Man Can Have No Accomplishments Without ..

The growing legal battle against President-elect Barack Obama's presidency is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court this week. The justices will decide whether or not to look into a lawsuit challenging Obama's citizenship. While the lawsuit is a continuation of a New Jersey case, the citizenship question has sparked a number of lawsuits from Obama's opponents.
Among those who have filed lawsuits is Alan Keyes, who ran an unsuccessful race against Barack Obama in 2004 for the Illinois Senate. Now, U.S. Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has taken an interest in the legal question and asked the rest of the bench to look into the case. Obama received dual citizenship since his father was a Kenyan-born national, which arguably doesn't qualify him as a "natural born citizen" as required by the U.S. Constitution.

A petition to stop the Electoral College from confirming Obama as the forty-fourth President of the United States on December 15 has already been rejected by Justice David Souter, but in a rare move,Thomas has stepped in and granted the case time before the high court in a conference scheduled for tomorrow.

ESSENCE.com spoke to Keyes about why he's challenging Obama's citizenship and if this whole lawsuit is just an overblown case of sour grapes.

ESSENCE.COM: What exactly do you want to accomplish with this lawsuit?ALAN KEYES: I had read a little bit about the issues that were being raised about Obama back during the primary season. At first I thought, like a lot of people, "There's nothing to this. It's just a matter of fact. You can establish what the facts are." The Constitution specifies that a citizen who is naturalized, rather than born into the status of being an American citizen, cannot be president. That was done in the beginning because people feared a foreign takeover of the United States government by the process of immigration. Staid as it is, we again are in a situation where a lot of foreign entities have influence or control over U.S. policy.

The reason an issue has been raised about Obama is because of the simple question, which can be answered with a birth certificate that shows he was born in the United States, or born to parents who had the capacity to transmit U.S. citizenship. When the question was asked, he danced around it. If the most important office of the federal government can be occupied by someone who is not qualified under the United States Constitution, that destroys the authority of the Constitution. I think it's something that needs to be dealt with in a clear, straightforward way. Eventually the case will get to the Supreme Court, establish the facts, and clear the air. It's really all very simple.

ESSENCE.COM: The Obama campaign responded to these questions months ago by posting a birth certificate on his campaign Web site, showing that he was born in Hawaii.KEYES: A lot of questions have been raised about what they posted. It has to be established by a matter of fact, not by some Web site. The state of Hawaii needs to share the birth certificate with the Supreme Court, so they can take a look at it. When I went into the government as part of the United States foreign service, you had to submit an original copy of your birth certificate. People have been dancing around Obama's certification instead of going straight to the answer.

ESSENCE.COM: What's wrong with the birth certificate on his Web site?KEYES: Part of the problem is, at the time he was born, the state of Hawaii was issuing certificates of live birth. That's what he has on the Web site. They would issue that certificate verifying you were born, but not necessarily in the United States. And there is question that, at the time that he was born, his mother was not yet of age to transmit citizenship. You had to be 19, I think. If he was born in Hawaii, then he is a natural born citizen. If he was born somewhere else-and a question has been raised if his birth was in Kenya-then his mother would not have transmitted citizenship. One needs to verify that the certificate verifies the birthplace.

ESSENCE.COM: State officials from the health department of Hawaii have verified that they have Obama's birth records, and that he was indeed born in Hawaii. Do you think they're lying?KEYES: I don't think anything. Just let it be verified. This is not something that should be taken on hearsay. This is the most important office. Everything should be done without controversy, in such a way that the Constitutional requirements are met. If something is contrary to the Constitutional requirement, then you have to do away with that. It's not on Obama to do this. The folks with whom this burden presently rests are the officials who are now responsible for the process, who sit on the Supreme Court and other areas. They have to abide by their oaths to preserve and defend the Constitution, and not have him entering into office with a question they refuse to resolve.

ESSENCE.COM: Why didn't you bring this up earlier, during the campaign? Why wait until two months before the inauguration?KEYES: The election is the time when the people make the judgment, not government officials. The problem in this case is, Obama was not properly vetted-by the media, or other individuals-during the campaign. They refused to look at it. People went to the polls with the issue unresolved. Once the electoral process is done, then the responsibility for certifying the results and making sure it's all according to the Constitution rests on the officials. So we're at a different stage of the process. I don't believe it would be a good idea to turn to the government to establish the qualifications of people who are running for office. That could be abused to limit the options of the people. If people are behaving with integrity, these facts would come out and then people would be able to make their judgment. This didn't happen.

ESSENCE.COM: To a lot of people, your lawsuit looks like a case of sour grapes because you lost. Your response?KEYES: I think politics is irrelevant to this, actually. I don't see how it is showing fondness for Barack Obama to let him enter into office with a question that could be raised. He should not have to operate under that burden. I think the officials need to clear the air for his sake. From my point of view, it is a bad idea to have a president of the United States enter office with a cloud hanging over his head, where every time he tries to do something, he would end up frittering away time because of that objection. So let's get it over with. Let's resolve it and move forward with a clear an undisturbed mandate for the new president.

ESSENCE.COM: For argument's sake, let's say Obama is only a naturalized citizen, and was raised by Americans and grew up in the United States. What difference does that make to you?KEYES: It makes a difference to the Constitution. The Constitution has to be obeyed. If we get into a position where it is somehow regarded as dispensable then this country will fall apart. Black people should be the first folks to remember that. Without adherence to the Constitution our battles would have never been won. I don't want to live in a country where we are suddenly back in a world where the force of majority rules. I don't think any of us do.

ESSENCE.COM: Would you be in support of amending that section of the Constitution?KEYES: No, I would most certainly not. Today we are in more danger as a people of being subverted by foreign powers than we were when it was founded. It is possible, under our present rules in America, for folks from another country to come visit America, to have a child here, to take that child back to wherever, raise that child there, and that child would be an American citizen. Do we really think it would be right to have a person who has not lived in America, does not identify with our people, to run here as president of the United States?

ESSENCE.COM: That's a different situation from what's being questioned about Barack Obama.KEYES: Rules have to be written in general. You can't write a rule in every particular case. The rules established in the Constitution are general rules that have been abided by people throughout the history of this country. People have been excluded from running for president, people like Arnold Schwarzenegger. One has to think of the common good. This isn't a question of individuals anymore. The key thing about the presidency, in my opinion, is that the person above all takes responsibility for the common good of the country. Our public officials do not swear allegiance to a country; they swear an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. That's something to be taken very seriously. Those are the rules.

Tell me please what makes us ladies do the shit we do ..

Side bar .. I only say ladies cause I have yet to see a man doing any of the shit like this that i've seen!

What in the fuck would possess a chick to get this kind of tattoo on her body? What about her kids? What about anyone else's kids who might see that? I damns sure don't want my daughters seeing no shit like this and thinking it's cute cause it's not! This is by far the tackiest i've seen yet, well then again there is a close second but for the moment this is topping the charts! This is just as bad as Frankie (K. Cole's mom) dating that young buck .. lol .. I mean really i'm into sex big time and I could appreciate a good threesome, I can also appreciate a good head but this is really way out there. I'm not no damn preference and interest billboard feel me! WTF?

I call clients all day long and I do get a chance to have some interesting conversation and such with the parties that I speak with, it's not all negotiations and crap .. so I called a gentleman today never looking over his file because really I have about a hundred of them on my desk so I don't have time to be nosy and read all of the charges that come through.

So, I dial his number and then that message that comes on when you have a special ringer comes on "Please hold while your party is reached" and the music comes on .. now usually people have that Beethoven type music .. as I said I make a lot of calls during the day .. but this one had Biggie's "Big Poppa" and I started to laugh to myself because I know for certain that i'm calling on an age case which means he's over 40 .. this man is 62 with Biggie as his playback song .. I died ... wtf is that .. don't you think 62 is old enough to not have some "I love it when they call me Big Poppa" playing in the background .. too funny .. lol

Now I have this image in my head of him walking down the street just chillin with his baggy jeans on just hangin off his ass .. lol .. now really i'm sure this is not his steez because he sounded decent but that Big Poppa threw me off a little .. lol

Thanksgiving Disasters

Thanksgiving is supposed to be a day of family, love and togetherness .. however there is always one incident or another that ruins the festivities .. either its your drunk cousin who seems to wait until Thanksgiving day to talk about every bodies business .. or your slutty cousin who always brings over some random dude to dinner as if he was even invited, or your know it all siblings who can't go a day without rubbing his or her accomplishments in your face. I'm sure we all have at least one of those types of people come over to give us something to talk about.

The day after thanksgiving also known as Black Friday .. a big sale/shopping day was prosperous for business. For a country that is in a recession I heard we spent about 1billion dollars on that day alone .. wow .. who knew we had that kinda money amongst us .. lol .. on a more serious note, Walmart notorious for the big day after sales had an employee trampled to his death upon opening the store Nov. 27th, now really is it that serious? This poor guy probably didn't even want to work that day and there it is his last day on earth opening the doors to a bunch of savages who couldn't walk calmly into the store .. who has that much damn energy at 4 and 5 in the morning anyway? Damn shame!

Lastly, it is a few days after Thanksgiving and I can say at least for myself that I am sick of Turkey for dinner .. lol I have remixed the hell out of it so much so that I made a small lamb stew for our Sunday dinner .. lol I could not take another turkey dinner .. no matter how good it was .. I think next year I will freeze all the left overs and save it for like two Sundays after .. lol .. yeah that sounds like a plan or just make enough for that days dinner alone .. imagine a spread like the one in the pic going into the fridge until it's all done .. lol

Lions & Tigers

Jazmine sang "i'm not scared of lions & tigers & bears .. but i'm scared of loving you!" What a line, when I first heard this song I instantly liked it because it was different than the norm and for her first CD I would say it's pretty decent.

But onto the topic .. Do you feel that falling in love is a scary thing? Your feelings could be derived from past experiences that have somehow stained your image of love but really is it the thought of love, or the thought of falling out of love or being hurt? Do you feel that getting hurt is inevitable therefore falling in love would be a feeling to be feared? Having had a bad experiece in my previous relationship I don't think that made me any more apprehensive about falling for my husband, as a matter of fact it happened gradually and in its own time but never did I have feelings or thoughts about being scarred by love so much so that it made me scared to love again. Then again it could possibly be the type of experience one has in his or her had in the previous relationship, who knows.

Can you relate to the feelings Jazmine sings about in regard to love, or do you find that love is like life you have to live it to experience it to its full potential?

Turkey Day

Thanksgiving is a time that most people generally spend with loved ones and or extended family. This year I cooked a bunch but spent it with my immediate family as I don't usually like all the fuss of traveling or hosting and things like that. I jut wanted to take the time to wish the Blogger family best wishes and holiday joy for and throughout the coming weeks. From my family to yours!

Random ramblings ...

I came into work today and aside from the usual feelings of disgust upon entering the office I was bombarded with the usual nonsense otherwise known as "other duties as assigned," mind you I have plenty of the "assigned duties" that need to be handled but that's neither here nor there. No sooner than I grumble to myself about this shit my boss walks in. Last week he asked me to return something to Office Depot that I bought back in MAY and how nice they were to exchange it for me. The next day they came to office with my exchanged item, this morning I give it to him and he's still not satisfied .. this MOTHERFUCKER asks me to return it again .. at this point i'm annoyed and i'm sure Office Depot was too though they remained very professional .. but for real, it's a FREAKING PEN FOR GODS SAKE! But that doesn't matter he's anal and obviously has nothing better to do with his time .. besides he's only an AREA DIRECTOR! Well OD let me keep the pens from the previous exchange and took care of the new ish .. whew ..
I start getting to work and my husband calls to tell me that my baby can't eat in school today 'cause she was denied free lunch and I was supposed to be notified back in September! WTF .. how the fuck I wasn't denied last year but denied this year and WHO THE FUCK gets denied free lunch .. I mean come on i'm not cheap but I got a problem with paying for shit outside of a bill and my necessities! So you figure $3 a day (for both kids) $15 a week, $45 a month, $450 a year .. the shit ain't worth it to me but my kids gotta eat so there goes my attitude .. lol
On another note, I recently applied to a job announcement back at my old job. Funny thing I left there thinking the grass would be greener and found out not only is the grass not greener but the shit won't grow .. lol .. there is absolutely nothing here for me, not advancement opportunities and just an overall lack of capability of improvement .. I can't have that .. shit with the $450 a year I need just for my kids to eat school lunch I'ma need all the helpI can get! Ironically I noticed that since I applied to the job i've hated this job that much more .. but all I can do is keep my fingers crossed! Well enough of my ramblings for now .. I have some shit to do here guess I might as well get on it! Two fingas ..

The Jean Queen

~DESIGNER~

~JEANS~

"I love blue jeans black jeans denim jeans .. jeans I do adorrrree .."

This blog is dedicated to my BFF .. I was visiting last week during a normal chief and bullshit session when it so happened that her closet was the center of attention ... for inside this closet lay I would say at least $2,000lk worth of jeans .. now come on ain't that much jean in the world .. well maybe for a fashionista such as DSP but damn come on now .. I know you got the hook up but for real! I wear jeans two days out of the week three with dress down Friday and I only own about four to five pair and only one of them is designer .. guess who I got them from .. lol .. DSP!

I started to go off and post this blog about how she spends so much money on her jeans and what not but you know what it's all good everyone has at least one thing they absolutely must have and for DSP it's shoes, jeans and Chronic .. who knew that jeans were even on the list? I've known her damn near my entire life and had no idea it was that serious .. guess you never really know a person huh?

Celeb? Rehab!

Remember back in the day when Rodney King was in the headlines near daily due to that ass whippin' (not funny) he got from the cops! Well who knew that he became a celeb after all of that .... That's right my man is on CELEB Rehab and i'm like don't you have to be a celebrity to be on there, what was his claim to fame getting his ass beat by cops and having it recorded and televised on all major networks .. moving right along .. so yeah he's there, I'm not watching avidly so I can't tell you what his problem is, i'm still stuck on the fact that he's on the show .. but my man Nick Notle had me dying .. do you watch?

Sasha Fierce

Beyonce has Sasha Fierce her alter ego, ironically I have Sasha too .. when i'm feeling frisky and extra freak you can call me Sasha for sure .. lol .. I know that we all have our moments and the stars definitely go through their name changing moments ...
*sidebar .. I wonder if this means her latest music will reflect her alter ego .. not holding my breath ..
But yeah we have that one side of us that is simply fierce and the other side of us that is calm, cool and collected. Do you have an alter ego?

Last Night I Danced

Last night I danced for my man
Scantilly clad in a bustier and sexy panty
I walked closer slowly to him
As slow music played in the background I moved
Sensually, erotically and enticingly
My mission being to please my man
Anxiously he sat with anticipation in his eyes
As I moved my hips slowly
Back and forth bending over so he could see
All that I had in store for this man
I kneeled slowly to grab touching his manhood
When I begin to take in all of this man
With each subtle lick and stroke of my tongue
I could see him squirm in pleasure
As he sat back taking it all in
Rubbing his fingers through my hair
At that moment what could be better
Without pause he tells me to get up from my knees
I lay back on the bed parting my legs
And touch myself as he watches me tease
With growing excitement he can hardly contain
I moan with pleasure as our sexcapade begins
He's focused on just how he plans to get inside
He fondles my breast and plays with the other
Licking them softly holding them together
After this has gone on for a little while
He stands tall before me with a devilish smile
We pant and moan and toss and turn
The sheets were our landscape
And our love was the drawing
We made love last night
For what seemed like forever
As I remember last night
The sweet love we made
I woke up this morning
With a smile on my face
Warm on the inside from the thoughts in my head
It should be a crime to ignite such delight
To make my inner walls shake
With your passion to ignite
Last night I danced for my man
And this morning i'm singing a song

You ever have a co-worker, peer or not, that feels they are more important than they actually are? I mean the ones dictating and shit four pay grades above their salary? wtf? I got this chick at my job .. now first of all she's a part timer, she's with a program we call 55+ which basically means she is over 55 and has retired and we hire them to work 4 hours a day here to do the menial shit like check the mail, do shit we don't feel like doing .. lol .. well not me because they don't work under me. So we have this one chick who obviously needs attention. I schedule meetings and when my attendees' come in she has to tell me .. mind you they can be an hour early and she has the sign in sheet and she's at my door doing roll call .. bitch they got to wait .. I can't help them if they came early ..
This same chick hs to run to the front desk to help everyone .. mind you she ain't even supposed to be up there cause she stay fucking shit up .. she's a straight mess .. I can not be the only one with one of these types of people in the office .. speak on it!

So my boo told me that I don't woo him any more the way I used to before we got married, I used to be heavy into writing poetry and most of it was erotic in nature, and I would share that with him, you know make him feel good and get him all hot! He says he misses Sasha .. that's my freak name .. lol .. so I got to thinking he was absolutely right, I haven't wrote anything in a while and I guess I figured i'm married now I don't have to keep things saucy I just need to get that good good and all is well.
Well listening to him and being a little more realistic about the matter, I see that there are some things I can do to bring that old thing back. Now this is not to say that our sex life is any less exciting but I think if I let Sasha do her a little more often then we both might be in for a surprise .. lol .. i'm anxious to hear what fellas feel about this and their mates, specifically, do you feel that after years of being together that its still necessary to do things to keep your man interested in your pussy? I know for a fact that me as a woman is just satisfied with a good stiff dick but if he were to say stop foreplay on some man I got her now why I gotta do that shit ... then I might feel some kinda way. Your thoughts are welcome.

I had to take care of some business this morning in the State Supreme Court and i'm there with a variety of different people, mostly the undesirables and I finally get inside and the lady that has me in intake is just as cold as ever. So i'm thinking to myself, should I just expect anything more? TO be honest I get the feeling that most civil servants and or those who work directly with the public are just miserable at their jobs. I don't blame them, I was in the elevator like damn this shit feel like the wires about to pop .. and the hallway corridor leading towards the office is full of pedestrians (plaintiff's and defendants) all of which I might add were complaining about one thing or another. Maybe it's just me but the attitude and atmosphere sucked I mean I ain't saying I was looking for coffee and pleasantries but damn! I'm convinced none of those muggs like they're jobs but after seeing the set up in there I'm sure I wouldn't either .. but me .. i'm so far from nasty that I might stick out like a soar thumb! Anywho that was just me rambling .. you may now continue with your regularly scheduled programming!
